Long Term Skill Shortage List Resident Visa

If you hold a Long Term Skill Shortage List Work Visa and have completed two years or more of regular employment under it, you may be eligible for this resident visa. Your employment should be on-going, and you should be earning a salary of NZ$ 45,000 or more.
Once granted, this visa allows for an indefinite stay in the country. You can study in New Zealand for any course you fancy, and you can also include your partner and dependent children aged 24 or under.

Things to Note

This visa allows you to work for anyone and under any occupation in the country. You are free to work in any city you like. There are travel conditions with this visa, but, until they expire, you are free to move in and out of the country as often as you need. Post that, you would need a permanent resident status or a variation to your travel conditions.
